Be wary of noise pollution and know what the allowed spl level (sound pressure level) is for the event venue even if your event is outdoors.
Some other things to consider here is hearing protection for anyone standing within range of speakers or having to work for long periods of time in consistently loud music.
Always consult your sound tech company on the positioning of your entertainment area and equipment before you go finalizing your event lay out. Such small details as the position of the speakers and the shape of the room can significantly alter both volume and quality of the sound. It requires a professional to make the most out of your event entertainment so don’t try to cut any corners in this area. Remember that while an event space can look impressive, you can quickly loose your credibility if the sound system is terrible.
